It is a mystery no longer. The 2012 Mystery Rally in October was to the Lodge and Spa at Cordillera. Armed with 50 quesions and the chance of winning Audi swag later, the assembled headed off west from Denver up through the foothills to Rollins. From there we went through Blackhawk and Central City and over Berthoud Pass to Granby.
Lunch was at Mavericks on Main Street. In the afternoon we went through Parshall and over Gore Pass to Wolcott and, from there, up the hill to Cordilerra.
We had a beautiful dinner in the restaurant Mirador at the Lodge. After dinner the winners of the rally questions were given awards. We had four couples score 100% plus 100% on the bonus quesitons so additional challenges had to be met to break the ties. Smart crowd. We had 3 ties for second and 2 for third, as well.
Brunch at the Lodge in the morning was follwed by skeet shooting at the 11,000 acre Lazy 7 Ranch down the hill from Cordillera.
We would like to thank our generous sponsors McDonald Audi, M&M Auto Reconditioning, 303 Motorsports and Prestige Audi. Your involvement makes our chapter strong and we work to be of value to you.
There are a couple of albums on the Rocky Mountain website gallery of the trip. Please check them out. Add one if you joined us on the Mystery Rally!
